2026-09-16 (Wednesday) — Hatching: 5 chicks hatched, 4 eggs still to hatch.
1. 1 chick died during hatching.
2. 2 chicks drowned.
3. Surviving: 2 chicks.
2026-09-16 (Wednesday) — Started liver tonic + vitamin doses + amino acids for batch 4 chicks (same supportive course as batch 1-3; 3-5 days, max 7).
2026-09-24 (Thursday) — Clutch moved from brooding hen to incubator: hen abandoned the nest after the first chick hatched.
2026-09-24 (Thursday) — Remaining 4 eggs all hatched alive, but 3 of the new chicks have leg issues (suspected splayed legs).
2026-09-29 (Tuesday) — 2 more chicks died (leg injury + weakness). Surviving: 4 chicks.
2026-09-28 (Monday) — Amprolium given in water (batch 4 included; amprolium was given to all batches Sep 28 + Sep 29).
